al-fuṣūl wa-taʿbīrāt az-zaman

A season anchors a weather sentence in time, which is what lifts it from a fact to a description.الفصلُ يربط جملةَ الطقس بالزمن، فترتقي من خبرٍ إلى وصف.

Using them الاستعمال

Rain falls in winter.تهطلُ الأمطارُ في الشتاء.
In summer the weather is very hot.في الصيفِ يكونُ الطقسُ حارًّا جدًّا.
It rarely rains in the desert.نادرًا ما تُمطرُ في الصحراء.
The weather is usually moderate in spring.الطقسُ معتدلٌ عادةً في الربيع.

نادرًا ما

نادرًا is normally followed by ما before a verb: نادرًا ما تمطر. Without the ما it sounds incomplete.يُقال: نادرًا ما تُمطر، بزيادة «ما» قبل الفعل.
