حار describes the weather. Note that for a person you feel, Arabic says أشعر بالحر rather than using حار.«حار» لوصف الطقس، وللإحساس نقول «أشعر بالحر».

- The weather is hot in summer.الطقسُ حارٌّ في الصيف.

- The country is hot and dry.الدولةُ حارةٌ وجافة.
