أدوات الاستفهام
adawāt al-istifhām
Question words come first in the sentence, exactly as in English. Learn them as a set — the speaking role play is built out of them.تأتي أداة الاستفهام في أول الجملة، وعليها يقوم لعب الأدوار في الامتحان.
| Arabic | Transliteration | English | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| ما / ماذا | mā / mādhā | what | ماذا تأكلُ؟ |
| مَن | man | who | مَن معك؟ |
| أين | ayna | where | أين المحطةُ؟ |
| متى | matā | when | متى تستيقظُ؟ |
| كيف | kayfa | how | كيف تذهبُ إلى المدرسة؟ |
| كم | kam | how much / how many | كم الساعةُ؟ |
| لماذا | limādhā | why | لماذا تحبُّ الصيف؟ |
| أيّ | ayy | which | أيُّ طبقٍ تفضّل؟ |
| هل | hal | yes/no question | هل تحبُّ الشاي؟ |
ماذا comes before a verb (ماذا تأكل؟). ما comes before a noun (ما اسمُك؟).«ماذا» قبل الفعل، و«ما» قبل الاسم.
هل turns a statement into a yes/no question with no other change: تحبُّ الشاي → هل تحبُّ الشاي؟ The answer is نعم or لا.تحوّل «هل» الجملةَ إلى سؤال دون تغيير آخر، والجواب: نعم أو لا.
In the role play you have to ASK, not just answer. Rehearse three questions per stop until they come out without thinking.في لعب الأدوار تحتاج إلى السؤال لا الإجابة فقط؛ تدرَّب على ثلاثة أسئلة لكل محطة.
