الماضي والمستقبل
al-māḍī wal-mustaqbal
The checklist asks for three time frames. Past and future are what turn a flat description into a piece of writing.تطلب قائمةُ التحقق ثلاثةَ أزمنة، وبالماضي والمستقبل يرتفع مستوى النص.

In the past, the change is at the END of the verb. In the present, it is at the FRONT. That single contrast is the whole system.الماضي يتغير آخره، والمضارع يتغير أوله.

Past: لم أذهبْ. Future: لن أذهبَ. Present: لا أذهبُ. Three tenses, three words.لم للماضي، ولن للمستقبل، ولا للمضارع.
