Using it الاستعمال

Turn left at the traffic light.اتجهْ يسارًا عند الإشارة.
The school is on the left.المدرسةُ على اليسار.
Take the first street on the left.خذْ أولَ شارعٍ على اليسار.

Two words for left

يسار and شمال both mean left. شمال also means "north", so the context matters.«يسار» و«شمال» بمعنى واحد، و«شمال» تعني الجهةَ أيضًا.
